The African Automotive Manufacturing Symposium will now take place as part of IATF 2020 from September 1-7 at the Kigali ICC, Rwanda.

The decision to merge this dedicated automotive manufacturing activity with the IATF (which also has the vision to draw Africa’s automotive market) strengthens the value proposition for all participants and places a dedicated spotlight on the automotive sector, which now has its own exhibition hall at IATF – placing automotive manufacturing at the forefront of thinking pertaining to African trade and industrialisation.

Inkanyezi has an exclusive agreement to manage the Automotive exhibition at IATF and will also in the same exhibition hall, stage the Symposium, which will address the specific issue of developing Africa’s automotive manufacturing networks – to manufacture vehicles locally, rather than import , thereby addressing systemic unemployment in the region.

THE VALUE PROPOSITION FOR EXHIBITORS IN THE AUTOMOTIVE HALL, IS SIGNIFICANT AND INCLUDES:
• Access to the B2B and B2G match-making program
• Listings in the show catalogue
• Access to the virtual exhibition
• Access to the Automotive Symposium and general conference

SPOTLIGHT ON:
• OEMS
• Cars, Trucks, Motorbikes
• Parts, Component Manufacturing
• Vehicle Accessories, Electronics, Connectivity
• Vehicle Financing
• Oil, Gas and Renewables

Africa is a key trading opportunity for the automotive sector. Today, intra-African trade is only 16% of total African trade. That is why we are partnering with the Intra African Trade Fair. No other event brings together more professionals under one roof. In 2020, IATF’s theme will focus on the newly-launched African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) – a single market for goods and services across 55 countries, aimed at boosting trade and investment.
